about

This album is meant to serve as a wake up call to African American males. Though we have been both kings and slaves, today we have the opportunities to reach the world and achieve anything. But too often we allow ourselves to be tricked into destroying our own communities. My intentions are to inspire black communities to take the higher path & to become self-sufficient. We will only regain our equal status in the world when we can stand on our own.

Track Name: Blood of Kings
Chorus

Let’s set the record straight about our history
Because I’m sick of the lies (we have the blood of kings)
From Nimrod to Menelik to the early Hebrew kings
Egypt and Nubia’s Pharoahs (we have the blood of kings)
The Za Dynasty, the Severan Dynasty
The “Black Madonna” statues (we have the blood of kings)
Look at the family crests of European royalty
So many black men’s portraits (we have the blood of kings)

V1

Since Mankind’s beginnings, there have been African empires and kingdoms
but in modern times, we’re brainwashed to think that we’re unequals
justifying our mistreatment by diminishing our people
conveniently forgetting the history of the region
like Carthage, the rivals of Rome, and the early Egyptians
the ancient city of Memphis, “The Black Land” known as Kemet
the depictions of the Black Moorish kings, and the hieroglyphics
were various shades of brown, now look at the Sphinx and you’ll get it
not to mention the Kingdoms of (Kush/Cush), Kerma, and Canaan
the pyramids of the Nubians, the Great Zimbabwe Nation
plus the global powers of (Axum/Aksum) and Meroe
and don’t forget Ancient Ghana, known as “The City of Gold”
the Swahili Civilization prospered from global trading
‘til the Portuguese came in the 1500s and enslaved them
the first country to recognize America’s independence
was Africa’s Muslim kingdom of Morocco, are you getting it?
our people were erased from history, taught that we were savages
by our racist conquerors to justify their massacres
and to this day, some of us act ashamed to be our race
but hold your heads up, we have the blood of kings running through our veins

Chorus

Let’s set the record straight about our history
Because I’m sick of the lies (we have the blood of kings)
From Nimrod to Menelik to the early Hebrew kings

So many black men’s portraits (we have the blood of kings

V2

Even in the days of the Prophet Jesus, when he was chosen
the only white people in Jerusalem were the Romans
and the Greeks, but the Romans used to persecute the Christians
for the first 300 years cuz they’d rejected the religion
check the Biblical descriptions of the prophets from the past
King Solomon was black and King David was his dad
plus the children of some prophets like Ham, the son of Noah
the Kedarites, Simeon, Cush, Canaan, and more
plus the kingdom of Makeda, the legendary Queen of Sheba
is in Ethiopia, Sudan, Yemen, and Eritrea
Ethiopia was the first major power in existence
to make Christianity its official religion
it’s the site of the first Hijra under the Prophet Muhammad
cuz Ethiopians were one of the largest groups among him
and don’t forget Nigeria’s Igba, or the Lemba,
the (Falasha/Falusha) and Qemant, who may be the Tribe of Dan’s descendants
I have to say this, there are no superior nor inferior races
we’re all God’s Creations but we have to stop this hatred
dehumanizing black people so other groups can gain
but stay strong my brothers, we have the blood of prophets in our veins

Chorus

Let’s set the record straight about our history
Because I’m sick of the lies (we have the blood of kings)
From Nimrod to Menelik to the early Hebrew kings

V3

They’ve found that Mankind started in Africa several million years ago
check the Cradle of Humankind and similar sites for visuals
up to 100,000 years ago homo sapiens left Ethiopia
to settle the rest of the world, and that’s according to historians
and modern archaeology, science, and genealogy
now would that mean that’s where Adam and Eve were from? …possibly
you can see “African” features in Natives around the world, specifically
with the Black Dravidians, Negritos, and Aborigines
in time their kingdoms crumbled and their descendants faced enslavement
fought Imperialism to gain freedom for our black nations
over 50 in Africa, others in the Caribbean
with black Presidents, doctors, activists, and businesses
colleges and medical schools, our own political parties
with beautiful capitals like Nairobi and Harare
and Addis Ababa, controlling our own money
these are things we’re still fighting for in these Western countries
even though we have our problems, we’re clearly not savages
but here, we’re never taught this, shouldn’t it be blasphemous
to claim you love God but hate His Creations? this has to quit
because the early humans all originally were Africans

Chorus

Let’s set the record straight about our history
Because I’m sick of the lies (we have the blood of kings)
From Nimrod to Menelik to the early Hebrew kings
Egypt and Nubia’s Pharoahs (we have the blood of kings)

Track Name: Paradise Lost
Chorus

Greeks, Romans, Arabs, then all of Europe
Now G20 multinationals spell our ruin (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded, always enslavement
Distributed around the world, why are we hated?

Aborigines, Negritos, the original people
of several continents yet they claim that we’re evil (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded and exterminated
Our motherlands were stolen yet we’re the ones they’re blaming

V1

We were the first people, the early prophets and the first believers
but also the first pagans, murderers and heathens
if Adam and Eve were Africans then what about Cain and Abel?
and many descendants of the prophets chose to be idolators
like the Canaanites, one branch of the Prophet Noah’s descendants
they worshipped Ba’al and other pagan “gods”, a false religion
and waged war with the prophets, that’s why they lost the Holy Lands
and the Chaldeans, who opposed the Prophet Abraham
and the Kedarites, founded by the son of the Prophet Ismail,
worshipped a pagan water “god”, rejecting Islam as well
and don’t forget it was Kemet’s Pharoahs who defied the Prophet Moses
and enslaved the Hebrew people and gave the Greeks most of their culture
but the Hebrews weren’t perfect either, they corrupted the teachings
so much that God kept punishing them and then dispersed their people
while others created Voodoo, witchcraft, and other religions
like the Black Dravidians, who invented Hinduism
it’s no coincidence that most if the world’s black people are Christians
or Muslims, it’s literally in our blood yet so many defy the Scriptures
we should know better yet we still reject them
then you wonder why we lose God’s blessings and our spots in Heaven

Chorus

Greeks, Romans, Arabs, then all of Europe
Now G20 multinationals spell our ruin (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded, always enslavement
Distributed around the world, why are we hated?

Aborigines, Negritos, the original people
of several continents yet they claim that we’re evil (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded and exterminated
Our motherlands were stolen yet we’re the ones they’re blaming

V2

Though we have a royal past, today we face discrimination
on a global scale, ranging from bias to near enslavement
look at any multiracial nation and its darkest people
are always the poorest with no voice, like southeast Asia and the Negritos
they’re the original inhabitants yet they’re displaced and mistreated
and the Arabs did the same in Northern Africa and Egypt
once the Prophet Muhammad was gone, their armies started their invasion
then they conquered and enslaved the original African populations
for 1300 years, only in the 1960s
did the last Middle Eastern countries abolish slavery
Europeans didn’t start their massive trade of African slaves
‘til the late 1400s when the Moors were forced from Spain
then those same Spanish and Portuguese continued their racial hatred
in North and South America with its reddish brown Natives
their Conquistadors would slay them, then ship their African slaves in
to build their nations but the lowest social class we stayed in
and don’t forget the British Empire in Oceania
and their conquest of the Aborigines in Australia,
Solomon Islands and Tahiti, Cook Islands and New Zealand
their Natives are brown and black and cuz of that they lost their kingdoms

Chorus

Greeks, Romans, Arabs, then all of Europe
Now G20 multinationals spell our ruin (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded, always enslavement
Distributed around the world, why are we hated?

Aborigines, Negritos, the original people
of several continents yet they claim that we’re evil (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded and exterminated
Our motherlands were stolen yet we’re the ones they’re blaming

V3

To this day we stay divided, our own eternal rivals
choosing to fight each other, dismissing our own survival
after almost 400 years of American enslavement
and 90 more of Segregation, God finally saved us
but once we gained our rights, we turned our guns on each other
and abandoned our children’s mothers, embracing the Devil’s corruption
killing each other over money and drugs and streets we’ll never own
‘til they strip us of our rights, calling a prison cell our homes
but in Africa it’s worse, they were controlled by Europeans
only after World War II did Africans regain their freedom
then like clockwork, they started attacking their neighbors and civilians
letting the West instigate African wars, killing millions
the worst part is most black people are Christians or Muslims
“believers” killing each other over land, money, and grudges
in America, we have the talent, money, and opportunities
but we throw it all away, destroying ourselves and our communities
in Africa, they have the land, resources, and institutions
they just lack the will to use it to unite as a single movement
if we ever united, we could end this cycle of afflictions
cuz before we were forced down but now, our fall is self inflicted

Chorus

Greeks, Romans, Arabs, then all of Europe
Now G20 multinationals spell our ruin (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded, always enslavement
Distributed around the world, why are we hated?

Aborigines, Negritos, the original people
of several continents yet they claim that we’re evil (we lost our paradise)
Always invaded and exterminated
Our motherlands were stolen yet we’re the ones they’re blaming
Track Name: Willing Servants
We have to be honest with ourselves about our collective problems
and recognize our faults if we’re ever gonna try to solve them
if you wonder why politicians don’t take us seriously
it’s cuz we have no unity and don’t own anything
no economic or political power either
we won’t even help our own, so why would they think we’re equals?
creatively we’re geniuses but we’re too short-sighted
creating new fads and styles only to sell off the rights and
then they buy it cheap and take it global and we lose a fortune
waste our money as consumers and once again we’re left with nothing
blindly supporting those who don’t reward our loyalty
so unsurprisingly our people are still trapped in poverty
and fake minority leaders, taking payments under the table
with orders to suppress or sabotage minority organizations
faking progress to keep us satisfied with the status quo
refusing to oppose their donors while their members are hurting and broke
then our leaders overseas, forcing their people to mine minerals
serving as virtual slaves since their early days as children
exporting resources from our homeland for pennies
getting screwed by global investors, who profit by the billions
or serving them by killing each other in proxy battles
in regional wars started by their former colonial masters
serving those foreign interests, assassinating your own leaders
choosing money over life, blood money over your people
and the brothers in our military, a forbidden subject
getting sent overseas to kill other people of color
over some rich man’s grudges or to suppress their public
only to come back as 2nd class citizens still struggling
or black American males serving Colombian cartels
selling their drugs and taking the fall when their operations fail
so you wind up serving the County, picking up trash for redemption
or serving the rest of your lives in their corporate-run prisons
even our educated people are constantly getting robbed
brainwashed to think “success” is being employed at one of their jobs
even though you have the talent and knowledge to start your own
end up working your lives away, don’t even own your own homes
then you have our celebrities, international idols
wealthy, adored by millions, their influence has no rivals
yet even these superstars willingly bow down
behind closed doors when their masters come around
faithfully paying tribute to the ones writing their checks
you make them so much money yet still get no respect
if only your fans knew that you’re nothing like your image
selling out your own people so you can earn the Devil’s privilege
endorsing his sinful or wasteful lifestyle or products
selling poison to our people, getting rich in the process
now you might think it’s worth it but this is not our purpose
from kings in our homeland to the world’s willing servants
Track Name: False Prophets
Chorus

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, heading straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
God’s Word is written down so you can read it yourself

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, going straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
Read the Scriptures yourself

V1

We call it “charisma”, God’s gift meant to spread the Scripture
it’s rarely seen but those who have it capture your attention
the ability to reach others, speak, and be heard,
to lead and guide the masses, should be used to spread the Word
but instead many use it to hustle the unassuming
manipulating or conning, with women it’s through seducing
some use it onstage, wasting the voices they were given
by preaching a self-destructive lifestyle or sinning
now listen to the lyrics and theories they’re teaching children
teaching those who follow them how to become the Devil’s minions
then you wonder why your career collapsed and all you’d gained is ruined
God gave you a chance to lead then took it away cuz you abused it
it’s no different than our forefathers, they were literal prophets
but their offspring forsook their knowledge, craving wealth and power
choosing the life of the world at the price of the Hereafter
becoming false prophets, leading the masses to disaster, so…

Chorus

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, heading straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
God’s Word is written down so you can read it yourself

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, going straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
Read the Scriptures yourself

V2

So many false prophets in the pulpits, scheming on believers
with expensive clothes from head to toe, balling like the heathens
multi-million dollar houses, fancy cars, living lavish
charity keeps them wealthy while their congregation’s famished
like parasites, feeding off the faithful in their dominion
treating religion like a hustle, just another form of business
constant pressure on believers to keep giving or “they’re sinning”
like you can buy your way into Heaven, where’s that in the Scripture?
if you’re really speaking up for God, then do it for free
then everybody can hear the truth, real prophets don’t charge a fee
you lost track of your purpose, God helped you raise millions
but instead of helping the needy, you spent it on a building
how much did every beautiful mosque or cathedral cost?
that should’ve been used to feed and help the poor, or to guide the lost
the poorest countries on Earth have majority Muslims or Christians
while the false prophets live like kings, indifferent to their conditions
how can you justify letting your fellow believers die of illness?
while you amass millions, profiting from their religions?
if the Prophet Jesus saw the way you hustled your congregations
he’d throw you out of the churches like he did the money changers

Chorus

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, heading straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
God’s Word is written down so you can read it yourself

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, going straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
Read the Scriptures yourself

V3

My fellow “People of the Book”, we have to be especially cautious
and keep a watch out for the twisted lies of false prophets
Shaytan uses them to trick us into following his religion
like getting Christians to follow the 7 Sins and pagan traditions
like Christmas, which is the Roman Sun God’s birthday, Sol Invictus
and the Easter Bunny’s a pagan fertility “god”, not to mention
Halloween’s the Day of the Dead combined with Al Hollow’s Eve
then there’s eating pig, fornication, tattoos, and adultery,
gambling and intoxication, they’re all against the Bible’s teachings
if you don’t follow your book, how are you different from the heathens?
it’s the same for false Muslims and their treatment of blacks and slavery,
their oppression of women and neglect for poor Muslims globally,
supporting torture and terrorism, suicide bombers and killing Christians
Muslims killing Muslims, all of this is against Islamic Scripture
God’s Word teaches that we’re equals in His eyes
but false prophets ignore this, propagating filthy lies
the Devil and his minions hijacked our religion
manipulated the Scriptures to improve their own positions
including pagan traditions so the masses would go along with them
then silenced God’s followers who pointed out these contradictions
and in time, the followers of these false prophets get so indoctrinated
by the corrupted teachings that they don’t recognize the real and sacred
teachings, so they reject them and the followers of those lessons
I can only imagine how they’d treat the Prophets if they met them

Chorus

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, heading straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
God’s Word is written down so you can read it yourself

Be cautious of these false prophets
Leading people off a cliff, going straight to Hell
Be cautious of these false prophets
Read the Scriptures yourself
Track Name: Savages
Chorus

They labeled us “savages”
they said we were uncivilized so we needed our masters to
keep us productive and help us grow
reminds me of a case worker and a p.o.

Now we’re taught to be savage
150 years after slavery and still we’re in shackles
trapped in a lifestyle that keeps us in prison
enslaved in a poor man’s existence

V1

This is a country that’s always hated us, oppressed and degraded us
treated us like trash, held us back, while enslaving us
lynched us and forced us to the poorest parts of town
but now that we’ve got equal rights, they can’t force us down
so instead, they’ve convinced us to do it to ourselves
helping us promote a lifestyle that sends us all to Hell
suddenly, being “black” is no longer a race but a mentality
that encourages being loud, rude, selling drugs, and poverty
you have to dress, act, and speak a certain way as well
and you must be “hard”, never scared, never care
but being “hard” is simply being evil, “street life” is sinning
both of which reject religion, yet you still say you’re Christians
by that logic, Eminem’s more “black” that Dr. King
since King spoke of peace, went to church, and had 4 degrees
can’t you see how the Devil’s corrupted our communities?
with this self destructive lifestyle replacing unity
but you ain’t trying to hear me, you’ve replaced “we” with “me”
caring only for yourself, you’re possessed by your greed
selling poison to your people, “thug life” is how you’re living
‘til you slipped up and caught a case, now you’re stuck in prison

Chorus

They labeled us “savages”
they said we were uncivilized so we needed our masters to
keep us productive and help us grow
reminds me of a case worker and a p.o.

Now we’re taught to be savage
150 years after slavery and still we’re in shackles
trapped in a lifestyle that keeps us in prison
enslaved in a poor man’s existence

V2

Fresh out of prison and you’re bankrupt, stuck on probation
behind on your child support, angry at the nation
you’re staying at a shelter, no love from your lady
she won’t let you see your son, found a new man to raise him
your p.o.’s a sadist, doesn’t want you to make it
waiting for you to slip so your freedom, he can take it
nobody wants to hire you but you can’t miss a payment
as the days pass, your frustration turns to desperation
and that’s exactly how it was planned to be to strip you of your humanity
they need you mad and desperate, separated from family
they’ll use your felon status to discriminate against you
strip you of your rights legally cuz they resent you
you can’t vote, go to school, or get a decent job
you paid your fees and did your time, so who’s really getting robbed?
now you’re a 2nd class citizen but this was by design
meant to pressure you to unleash your primal side and choose a life of crime

Chorus

They labeled us “savages”
they said we were uncivilized so we needed our masters to
keep us productive and help us grow
reminds me of a case worker and a p.o.

Now we’re taught to be savage
150 years after slavery and still we’re in shackles
trapped in a lifestyle that keeps us in prison
enslaved in a poor man’s existence

V3

You spend the next 10 years going in and out of jail
seeing people killed, shady deals, swearing you’re in Hell
and your friends are in the same position, some dead and some in prison
robberies and petty crimes, that’s your daily way of living
a cutthroat mentality, overwhelmed by reality
taking it out on everyone, a danger to your community
never realizing how many people in society
profit from the life of crime plaguing those in poverty
organized crime has an alliance with the law
and needs disposable people to sell their drugs and take the fall
while law enforcement needs an excuse for new toys and funding
and politicians need a legal way to suppress our voting numbers
and corporate-run prisons need to stay at full capacity
since they get paid for every inmate they have, so obviously
the poor and young minorities are the perfect choice for them all
this crooked system’s made savages out of everyone involved

Chorus

They labeled us “savages”
they said we were uncivilized so we needed our masters to
keep us productive and help us grow
reminds me of a case worker and a p.o.

Now we’re taught to be savage
150 years after slavery and still we’re in shackles
trapped in a lifestyle that keeps us in prison
enslaved in a poor man’s existence

V4

Many years have passed by, now you’re in your mid 40s
living at your mom’s, long since gave up seeking glory
gave up on your dreams now you’re just trying to survive
depressed when you realize the world’s passed you by
reminiscing on the talents that you had when you were children
and the opportunities you threw away cuz you were tripping
your elders tried to warn you, wishing that you had listened
now you’re broke with no voice, living a powerless existence
but you’re still loved and through God, you’ve learned the meaning of life
so you decide to start over and make your girlfriend your wife
so you sneak off to the jewelry store to look at their rings
when in comes a young brother, age 17
he pulls out his gun and nervously yells demands
man, why now?! this was not part of the plan
you try to talk him down so he won’t make the same mistakes
he hesitates and as you reason with him, he relates
hearing sirens in the background, the cops are on their way
he reminds you of your son so you help him escape
he still has a chance at life, but as you start running away
whoops, you stepped on his shoes, he gets pissed and shoots you in the face… savages

Chorus

They labeled us “savages”
they said we were uncivilized so we needed our masters to
keep us productive and help us grow
reminds me of a case worker and a p.o.

Now we’re taught to be savage
150 years after slavery and still we’re in shackles
trapped in a lifestyle that keeps us in prison
enslaved in a poor man’s existence
Track Name: Self Hatred
“Who taught you to hate the texture of your hair? Who taught you to hate the color of your skin to such extent that you bleach to get like the white man? Who taught you to hate the shape of your nose and the shape of your lips? Who taught you to hate yourself, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet?”
- Malcolm X

V1

Self hatred, the reason we have no black community
we worked so hard to get equality that you would think
we’d work together, each brother helping others
but instead, we got hustled into fighting one another
light skinned vs. dark skinned, “street” vs. educated
nappy vs. straight hair, poor vs. those who made it
hood vs. hood, believers are even segregated
Muslims vs. Christians, our differences are exaggerated
it hurts to acknowledge this
but we’ve fallen victim to the same mindset as the colonists
they placed the lighter skinned slaves into higher service
while the darker ones were kept in the fields, they weren’t worthy
said our skin, lips, and curly hair were a disgrace
so to this day, black women abuse their hair to get it straight
like we’re ashamed of who we are, this is how God made us
we need to love ourselves and get rid of this self hatred

Chorus

Black men killing black men or killing black women
Black women through abortions are killing black children
Black children killing each other over a new pair of shoes
Our community is dying with each one we lose

Black celebrities and “leaders” misguide our people
Then move from black neighborhoods so they won’t have to see us
Our community is dying but together, we can save it
Self love’s the only way to cure self hatred

“Who taught you to hate your own kind? Who taught you to hate the race that you belong to, so much so that you don't want to be around each other?... We don't steal, we don't gamble, we don't lie, and we don't cheat. And that also deprives the government of revenue. Because you can't get into a whiskey bottle without getting past a government seal”
- Malcolm X

V2

Now black males killing males over nothing
but street life, gang signs, and who’s “really thugging”
drugs and money are the sources of our grudges
we should be working together, we’re literally all cousins
most of us hate our dads cuz they were non-existent
then turn around and do the same things to our children
leave them with no role models, so instead they listen
to the Devil and his minions, so they end up in prison
they treated us like savages, said we weren’t civilized
now we’re proud to be thugs, break laws, and womanize
it used to be a crime to even teach us to read and write
now we drop out of school and say the smart ones are “acting white”
come on man, we’re better than this
we’ve got the blood of kings running through our veins so resist
these foolish temptations, it’s the only way we’ll make it
or we’ll always be controlled by our own self hatred

“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman...The most neglected person in America is the black woman. And as Muslims, the honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches us to respect our women and to protect our women. ... We will kill you for our woman...”
- Malcolm X

V3

Why do we hate our women, it’s pathetic, I just don’t get it
they’re the mothers of creation, with them lie our blessings
so why do we neglect them? threaten and reject them?
call them out their names, constantly disrespect them?
cheat on them? lie to them just to get sex? then
discard them like trash the second they get pregnant?
sell them as prostitutes? proudly we tell them
they’re only good as strippers and models; we’ve truly failed them
abandon our daughters, letting the snakes have their way with them
won’t protect our sisters, instead we stay degrading them
brag about abusing them with the back of our hands
then got the nerve to get mad when she gets a white man (haha)
here’s a tip: they just want us to love them,
trust them, treat them right, and stand up for something
strive to be her protector and provider
guide her in life but also listen to her guidance
you do this and she’ll be there forever,
support you in your goals through rain and stormy weather
cuz they just want to help us by changing us for the better
and to have strong families, but we won’t let them
so now they’re losing faith in us, look in their eyes
you can see the pain cuz they know they’ll never get to be wives
since we’d rather act like thugs for the rest of our lives
we need to man up and embrace our women while there’s still time

Track Name: Faith
Chorus

Subhan’Allah (God is void of evil/Glory be to Allah/Glory to God)
Alhamdulillah (Praise to God/All Praise is due to Allah)
Allahu Akbar (God is great/God is greatest)
You gotta have faith

V1

Assalamu Alaikum my brothers, may Allah grant peace upon you all
I’ve called you here tonight cuz there’s something we must resolve
it involves our lack of unity, frankly, I’m appalled
at the fall of our community and how it all dissolved
let’s recall how the Hebrews were treated in Ancient Egypt
oppressed and enslaved yet they stayed as believers
so of course God freed them, then history repeated
and our people were enslaved by depraved Europeans
from Africa to Haiti, we resisted our mistreatment
and proudly we united in our fight against evil
and once again, God freed us in hopes that we would see it
was a trial from our Lord so we’d be thankful as believers
so what went wrong? why’d we abandon God’s teachings?
it seems like we’ve adopted Babylon’s way of thinking
choosing money over life, abandoning family for our wealth
and you wonder why our communities have failed, what happened to our faith?

Chorus

Subhan’Allah (God is void of evil/Glory be to Allah/Glory to God)
Alhamdulillah (Praise to God/All Praise is due to Allah)
Allahu Akbar (God is great/God is greatest)
You gotta have faith

V2

Now let’s look back at our civil rights leaders from the past
and the role that religion played in keeping us on track
don’t forget Dr. and Reverend Martin Luther King was hunted
as the head of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference
brother Malcolm was a spokesman for the Nation of Islam
and Frederick Douglass was a minister, the list goes on and on
and those were black churches and homes the Klan would bomb
and intimidate our people, burning crosses on our lawns
cuz Islam and Christianity were always part of our families
teaching us to work together while guiding our communities
but recently our people have abandoned God’s teachings
and started to adopt Babylon’s way of thinking
choosing money over life, we’ve replaced our religion
with drug dealing, thugging, or embraced pimping
getting paid to enslave then manipulate our women
and you wonder why it’s Hell where you’re living, cuz you threw away your faith

Chorus

Subhan’Allah (God is void of evil/Glory be to Allah/Glory to God)
Alhamdulillah (Praise to God/All Praise is due to Allah)
Allahu Akbar (God is great/God is greatest)
You gotta have faith

V3

What makes you afraid to be righteous or to try to guide our nation?
or ashamed to speak of peace or to pursue an education?
and why are you afraid to speak out against evil?
or the treatment of our women that’s inflicted by our people?
are you ashamed of being a virgin or to save yourself for marriage?
like you’re scared to tell them “no”, so you give in to the pressure
scared to speak about your faith, scared to claim your own religion
cuz you’re scared of being rejected by your peers, but what you’re missing
is just cuz someone’s smiling at you that doesn’t mean that they’re your friend
they could be smiling cuz they tricked you or they’re happy to see you sin
it’s better to have a few righteous friends or even to walk alone
than to hang with evildoers, bringing the Devil in your home
if he appeared as a serpent, you’d recognize and desert him
so he speaks through his minions, slowly teaching you to serve him
so they showed you how to sell drugs and different ways of killing
and they bring you free drinks, stolen goods, and easy women
but you don’t realize that these false friends are helping
you gain the life of the world at the cost of going to Heaven
God opened up your eyes so you could see a better path
so don’t turn back when times have gotten bad, you’ve just got to have faith

Chorus

Subhan’Allah (God is void of evil/Glory be to Allah/Glory to God)
Alhamdulillah (Praise to God/All Praise is due to Allah)
Allahu Akbar (God is great/God is greatest)
You gotta have faith
Track Name: Improve Yourself
Chorus

We only get so many chances (Improve yourself)
Before our lifelines are extinguished (Improve yourself)
But every day that our souls awake (Improve yourself)
Is another chance to change (Improve yourself)

V1

You’re blessed with so many talents my people, I hope I can help you see it
you can accomplish anything so no more choosing evil
in time, you’ll see that faith is the key to getting on track
you just have to have the will to try to walk the right path
actually it’s pretty simple, quit doing crimes and sinning
ask God for His forgiveness and relearn your religion
be honest with yourself, where are you messing up and why?
are you happy with your life? and what’s the source of your decline?
rid yourself of negativity, especially from other people
quit listening to the sinners that pressure you to be evil
stop hanging with those false friends, they’ll only bring you down
hang with those on the right path, no pressure now
get your life right, be kind, and purify your mind
no more doing crime, recognize that you’re wasting time
learning sports stats, pop songs, and celebrity gossip,
strippers and porn stars, the drug game, pointless topics
flush that poison out your mind, replace it with real knowledge
read the Qu’ran and study economics, things you want to accomplish
you have the ability, focus and you’ll excel
‘cause the only person holding you back is yourself

Chorus

We only get so many chances (Improve yourself)
Before our lifelines are extinguished (Improve yourself)
But every day that our souls awake (Improve yourself)
Is another chance to change (Improve yourself)

V2

Now that you’ve stopped acting crazy and adopted a new philosophy
we can finally speak about the cycle of poverty
and how it separates us from the rest of the nation
poverty’s a state of mind passed down through generations
it starts with our parents, they were born poor and so were we
and like their parents, they struggled their entire lives so we could eat
and as we grow older, if we don’t save, we’ll do the same thing
we’ll be poor, raising poor kids, trapped in poverty
we have to save and teach our kids to save what God gives you
or they’ll struggle to raise their kids and the cycle will continue
but it’s different for the wealthy, that’s why they’re called “old money”
it’s money they could have for hundreds of years, passed down for dozens
of generations, obsessed with saving it for their children
so they’ll never have to work, instead they live off the interest
taught to make that money work for them through investments and business
while the poor are taught to be consumers, once we get it, we spend it
but you’ve gotta change that, don’t be a statistic
quit wasting money on trendy gadgets and shiny trinkets
treat each check like it’s your last, don’t get caught up in the hype
live on a small budget, save the rest and you’ll be set for life

Chorus

We only get so many chances (Improve yourself)
Before our lifelines are extinguished (Improve yourself)
But every day that our souls awake (Improve yourself)
Is another chance to change (Improve yourself)

V3

And now that we’ve cleansed our minds and changed our habits, let’s work on actions
and how we interact with others, influence them or distract them
evaluate yourself and make a vow to do no harm
help others when they’re doing right but not when they’re doing wrong
each test could be your last chance to improve your standing with God
so try your best to be your best, proudly be His pawn
while vowing never to rape, never to kill, lie or steal
we could end these sins today if everybody made this deal
and then you’ve got to improve how you speak to other people
no more cursing, yelling, or putting them down; treat them like they’re equals
especially with women and kids, that’s what it means to be a man
we have to protect and provide for them, to give them a chance to try their plans
even if they’re out of line, you have to remember that they’re sacred
so no beatings, exploitation, or manipulation
treat others with respect, even if it’s not deserved
but if you can’t, it’s better to walk away, don’t make it worse
donate to food banks, local causes, and those in need
even if it’s only a dollar, give to every charity you see
the final goal’s to become the personification
of the 7 Virtues, and I know that you can make it

Chorus

We only get so many chances (Improve yourself)
Before our lifelines are extinguished (Improve yourself)
But every day that our souls awake (Improve yourself)
Is another chance to change (Improve yourself)
Track Name: Find Your Queen
Chorus

One day, you’ll find that you’re ready
To share your life with a lady
Now you’re ready to find your beloved queen
Your partner and friend for all eternity

V1

God’s greatest worldly gift to men is a good woman
but choose your woman carefully, she can bring you joy or ruin
cuz every woman has the potential
to be a good wife but that doesn’t mean she wants to be one
so choose based on character, kindness, and intelligence
get a classy lady who will make you a better man
she’ll help you with your dreams, teach your kids, and make you happy
keep your house clean and satisfy your “other needs” gladly
while a bad one will be the worst decision you ever make
she’ll destroy you from within, send you to an early grave
she’ll block your dreams, drain your money, and use your kids against you,
pull you away from God, keep you stressed, and won’t defend you
so don’t be fooled by looks or how good she is in bed
cuz looks fade and constant stress isn’t worth the sex
so ask God to send you a good woman that will help you
but when He does, stake your claim and prepare yourself for marriage

Chorus

One day, you’ll find that you’re ready
To share your life with a lady
Now you’re ready to find your beloved queen
Your partner and friend for all eternity

V2

Now that you’ve set your sights on a lady, let’s take a second
to understand her point of view, this is a vital lesson
cuz usually we only see her as a woman physically
never understanding what we’re asking her to do or be
you’re asking if you can be the potential father of her kids
to be the man to help her when she’s old, weak, or sick
to be her helper when she’s sad, hurt, or frustrated
that’s a lot of responsibility, that’s a huge decision she’s making so…
give her time, let her study the possibilities
be kind, share your mind and your history
and when she finally makes her decision, be
respectful even if you get rejected, show maturity
cuz there are plenty of good women available
and the plan’s to find the right one to share a home
so take your time and when you find the sweetest deal
pursue her and commit or the next man will

Chorus

One day, you’ll find that you’re ready
To share your life with a lady
Now you’re ready to find your beloved queen
Your partner and friend for all eternity

V3

As you take her out on dates, drop hints of your union
romantic and exciting, yet still she’s elusive
so “woo” her, give her time, and prove yourself to her
be honest with her cuz she’s watching everything you’re doing
like you habits and mannerisms, what’s your long term vision?
whether you look at other women, and the life that you’ll be living
and if she accepts you, it’s not just because
of who you are today but also who you can become
cuz a marriage is a partnership, she’s not your servant
decide things together and treat her right, she deserves it
help her with her plans and she’ll help you with yours
adapt to each other and the closer you will grow
be strong when she’s weak, let her nurse you when you’re hurting
she’ll keep you out of trouble, when you’re gone she gets worried
be respectful and appreciate the happiness she brings
and last but not least, thank God for sending you your queen

Chorus

One day, you’ll find that you’re ready
To share your life with a lady
Now you’re ready to find your beloved queen
Your partner and friend for all eternity
Track Name: Family
Chorus

Man up and take care of your families
Man up and teach your son how to be a king
If your dad wasn’t there for anything
Why put your own son through the same thing?

V1

You watch your first son being born, nervous from his crying
but the first time he looks at you, you fill with excitement
you want to give him the world, he’s the heir to your throne
as he learns to walk and talk, he becomes your little clone
emulating your words and action, mannerisms and reactions
trying his best to be just like you, you’re his hero, you’re his daddy
now cherish these moments cuz they won’t last long
and you know the traps the world will throw at him so make him strong
and teach him your secrets, from school to life lessons
how to treat women, defend himself, and deal with rejection
being a good example of a man’s the best way to help him
cuz the things that you don’t talk about, I bet you someone else will
and as he grows older your bond will grow closer
sometimes you’ll disagree but eventually, he’ll be the grown one
one day, you’ll proudly watch him start his own family
and you’ll know you did it right when he teaches his sons the same things

Chorus

Man up and take care of your families
Man up and help you daughter become a queen
If your dad wasn’t there for anything
Why put your own daughter through the same thing?

V2

You watch your daughter being born and man, you’re terrified
she’s so pure and defenseless, tears roll down your eyes
knowing everything you’ve ever seen or done to other women
might be done to her through karma so you can’t let her be a victim
but it’s tricky cuz girls are trusting and loving people
determining their worth by how other people see them
you need to protect her and you’ve also got to teach her
if she ever gets a guy who beats her then she’s got to leave him
at this stage, she soaks it up, you’re her special tutor
she’s daddy’s little girl, all she wants is your approval
so build up her confidence, show her she can do it
and build up her street smarts so no one can use her
teach her all about men, our games, tactics, and lingo
and how to defend herself and deal with police if she needs them
as your little girl becomes a woman, you’ll get more protective
sometimes you’ll disagree, thinking she forgot your lessons
in time she’ll move away and somebody will court her
you’ll think you’re losing your baby but you must stay supportive
cuz every woman eventually wants kids and her own home
so be proud she’s started a loving family of her own

Chorus

Man up and take care of your families
Man up for your wife, your beloved queen
If your dad wasn’t there for anything
Why put your wife and kids through the same thing?

V3

You’ve already found your queen and she gave you a family
your better half, constantly helping you with your dreams
an expert with your kids, likes teaching them how to read
she’s got your back when times are hard, flawless budgeting
your best friend, a great cook, and still keeps her curves
tries her best to keep you happy and all she wants in return
is love and appreciation but if you don’t give it
you risk losing it all so shower her with love and kisses
and also, your sons will be watching the way you treat her
so treat her with respect so they’ll see women as their equals
and daughters will think the way you treat her is how they will be treated
so be romantic, respectful, never beating, never cheating
and God will watch to see if you’ll protect them or neglect them
if you willingly hurt your family, how do you expect to get to Heaven?
so stick with the plan and be the best man you can be
cuz your love and support’s the greatest gift you can give your family

Chorus

Man up and take care of your families
Man up for your wife, your beloved queen
If your dad wasn’t there for anything
Why put your wife and kids through the same thing?
Track Name: Power
Chorus

Money comes, money goes, same for these clothes
But what stays are your personal bonds, let them grow
Cuz a close-knit community can’t be devoured
Self-sufficiency and God are the true keys to power

So build it within your own community
And never sell out

V1

Let’s start big with the ultimate system of self-sufficiency
with like-minded people, start a member-owned community
keep Wall Street and corporate money away from your system
or in time, they’ll take control and outsource your way of living
have members pool their money, buying land and basic facilities
like clinics, housing, and utilities and farms to cover your needs
these organizations provide all necessities
and everyone chips in to increase productivity
and any surplus can be traded, saved or sold
to other locally owned co-ps and as you grow
your church or mosque provides the daycare so the kids
get a positive upbringing that compliments
and reinforces the community’s values instead of Hollywood’s
and community centers help them use their idle time for good
schools teaching trades that improve the community
like farming and construction, plus the business side and how to lead

1st Bridge

And everyone plays a part in the security
Reporting and pushing out the ones that choose to bring
Drugs and criminal ways into your place
Working together you can keep your families safe, cuz

Chorus

Money comes, money goes, same for these clothes
But what stays are your personal bonds, let them grow
Cuz a close-knit community can’t be devoured
Self-sufficiency and God are the true keys to power

So build it within your own community
And never sell out
Hey, keep it within your own community
And never sell out

V2

Now let’s describe the way an individual can rise
think long-term, save your money and help in hard times
keep God in your life and He’ll give you opportunities
so make the most of them, making sure to do it ethically
an education is the greatest way to get out of poverty
cuz it directly affects the highest income level you will see
if not through better jobs then by helping you avoid the traps
that societies enact in order to hold our people back
and being self-employed is the surest path to wealth
cuz a single idea can be your ticket to success
but you can’t do it alone, you’ll need help in order to make it
so keep your bonds with friends and neighbors cuz you’ll need them later
some will be your workers, others customers or investors
either way, you’ll have a network of people willing to help you
but your most reliable business partner is your wife
her support and advice will keep you strong and capable for life

2nd Bridge

And now it seems everyday that’s passing
You’re reaching more milestones which improves your status
Your family’s in good health, your goals are on track
Now you can finally sit back and relax (not quite…)

V3

Then you have to give back and help the ones who are struggling
that’s how strong communities are formed, and once productive
then the strong communities have to help the less successful ones
until each community in that region’s as strong as its better ones
then each strong region helps develop its poor neighbors
working together until the day they finally form a strong nation
then those strong nations help the poorer nations pull out of poverty
it’s not hard to see it’s the only way we’ll gain equality

3rd Bridge

Remember: start with yourself, helping those in your life
once they no longer need help, then you combine your might
and help the other neighborhoods, then repeat it
you’re doing this for God, do you need another reason?

Chorus

Money comes, money goes, same for these clothes
But what stays are your personal bonds, let them grow
Cuz a close-knit community can’t be devoured
Self-sufficiency and God are the true keys to power

So build it within your own community
And never sell out
Hey, keep it within your own community
And never sell out
Track Name: Equality & Forgiveness
V1

Once we finally have our own self-sufficient communities
real estate, businesses, law enforcement, and facilities
and don’t need help from government or corporate entities
they’ll have to see us as their equals, no more sympathy
no more taking us for granted while ignoring our interests
their companies will have to compete to get our business
for once, their leaders would have to follow through on their promises
if they want to get our support for their re-election bids
this isn’t new, every other nationality
does the same thing, look at the Jewish community
and Little Italy, Chinatown, and white communities
you’ll see the same things, self-sufficiency and unity
so all that’s left is for us to put this plan in motion
to work together and take control of our resources
create our own jobs and help ourselves from within
only then will the world deal with us as equal men

Chorus (Equality)

We want the same opportunities
The same standing in society
The same protections for our kids
No more bias or exploiting them, deal with us as equal men

V2

Call me naïve but I truly believe that we can unify
lay down our weapons and work together, see eye to eye
solidify a massive African kingdom
resources beyond belief and many spiritual leaders
we’d have the greatest anthems with flawless dancers and singers
with gracious ladies from Angola to Eritrea
our Caribbean nations could form a true federation
a tropical getaway that’s the envy of all vacations
our athletes and celebrities could promote a hopeful vision
serving as global diplomats, improving our image
imagine our gangs working together in order to help us
protecting our communities like the Black Panthers
our street dealers using their business skills instead to build
massive legal institutions, legal deals, no one’s killed
my dream’s to see us all united globally
while entire generations grow up knowing only peace and equality

Chorus

We want the same opportunities
The same standing in society
The same protections for our kids
No more bias or exploiting them, deal with us as equal men

But first we have to do the same thing
See each other as our equals and strive for unity
Treat our women and kids with dignity
Care for and take care of our own communities

2nd Chorus (Forgiveness)

So show forgiveness and let it go
Forget our grudges and let it go
Focus on things that will help us grow
Keep moving forward and never sell your soul

Even with those who don’t like us
Take the higher path or you’ll be just like them
Remember, it’s God who unites us
While the Devil spites us and then divides us

V3

Yeah, we’ve been wronged by many but we have the blood of kings
we’re strong enough to let it go and still reach our dreams
there are people globally that want to help us succeed
but we have to unclench our fists and make peace, I want to see
African Americans forming strong communities
then get welcomed on visits to our homelands overseas
seeing both Sudans treating each other equally
as I travel up and down the Nile, hoping to see my dream
of Ethiopia and Eritrea forming a lasting peace
so I can shop in Asmara then fly to Addis to sleep
then sing about the “high life” of Nollywood in Lagos
then march with the ANC Youth League for training
invite my friends to visit beautiful Angola
the land of Kalandula Falls, Yola, and Perola
hop a flight from Luanda, take a tour of Rwanda
then a pilgrimage to the Mountains of the Moon in Uganda
then hang with then update our ex-pats in Ghana
take a cruise out to Haiti then retire in the Bahamas
we have so much potential, God gave us so many blessings
but we must forgive each other cuz the key’s to work together

Chorus

So show forgiveness and let it go
Forget our grudges and let it go
Focus on things that will help us grow
Keep moving forward and never sell your soul

Even with those who don’t like us
Take the higher path or you’ll be just like them
Remember, it’s God who unites us
While the Devil spites us and then divides us
